Gulkirat Kaur Panag, also known as Gul Panag, is an Indian actress, producer, pilot, entrepreneur, activist, voice actress, and model. She primarily works in Hindi films, television, and web series but has also appeared in Punjabi and Telugu films. She was crowned Miss India Universe in 1999 and represented India at the Miss Universe pageant the same year. She won the Best Actress award for her role in the film Dor (2006) at the Stardust Awards. She is the co-founder of a technology company, Mobiefit, which develops fitness apps. She is also involved in running a production company that creates cutting-edge content.

Early Life and Education
Gul Panag was born on January 3, 1979, in the village of Mahadian, located in the Fatehgarh Sahib district of Punjab, India, into a Sikh Army family. Her father, Lt. Gen. Harcharanjit Singh Panag, served in the Indian Army, which required their family to move frequently across India and abroad. As a result, she attended 14 different schools across India and abroad, including Kendriya Vidyalayas in Chandigarh, Mhow, Leh, and Wellington (Tamil Nadu), as well as The Lawrence School, Lovedale, and the International School of Lusaka, Zambia. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Punjabi University, Patiala, and a Master's degree in Political Science from Panjab University, Chandigarh. As a student, she was actively involved in sports and public speaking. She won numerous state- and national-level debate competitions, including two gold medals at the Annual National Inter-University Debate Competition.
Personal life
Gul Panag married her long-time boyfriend, Captain Rishi Attari, an airline pilot, on 13 March 2011 in a Gurdwara in Chandigarh in a traditional Punjabi Sikh ceremony. The couple has a son named Nihal, born in 2018.
Gul Panag loves reading and always has 2-3 books with her. She keeps one by her bed, one in her car, and one in her handbag. She also collects first-edition books and has a big library.
Gul has always lived with dogs and horses. She often rides horses with her two beagles, Gina and Vegas, in her village, Fatehgarh Sahib, Punjab.
She comes from a family of skilled shooters and is very good with guns. Her brother, Sherbir, was in the Indian national shooting team, and she trains with him often.
