Shreya Chaudhry was born on November 6, 1995, in Kolkata, West Bengal, India, into a Rajput Hindu family. Her father is Rohit Chaudhry, and her mother is Kanchan Chaudhry. She has an elder brother named Karan Chaudhary, who is married to Shruti Bhagtani. Her paternal grandfather is Shailendra Chaudhry, and her maternal grandmother is Nirmala Kuwadekar.
Shreya spent her early years in Kolkata before her family moved to Mumbai. She completed her schooling at Jankidevi Public School in Mumbai.
