Ameya Mathew (born Chinchu Mathew) is an Indian film actress and model who primarily works in the Malayalam film industry. She is known for her roles in Aadu 2 (2017), The Priest (2021), and Raththam (2023). She is best known for her appearance in the Malayalam web series Karikku.

Personal Life
Ameya Mathew, whose real name is Chinchu Mathew, was born on June 2, 1993, in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India, into a Malayali Christian family. Her father is K.K. Mathew, and her mother is Suja S. Thampi.
She completed her higher secondary education at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Aakkulam, Thiruvananthapuram. She pursued a bachelor's degree in English Literature from Newman College, Thodupuzha, and later obtained a postgraduate degree in English Literature from Mar Ivanios College, Thiruvananthapuram.
Ameya Mathew married her longtime friend Kiran Kattikaran, a software engineer in Canada, on August 21, 2024. The couple had previously registered their marriage on June 2, 2023, coinciding with Ameya's birthday, in a private ceremony attended by close family members.
Career
Ameya Mathew started her career as a model before she became an actress. She made her Malayalam film debut in 2017 with a role in Aadu 2, a sequel to the Malayalam film Aadu (2015), alongside stars Jayasurya, Saiju Kurup, Vinayakan, Vijay Babu, Sunny Wayne, Dharmajan Bolgatty, Anson Paul, Mamukkoya, Bhagath Manuel, Vineeth Mohan, Indrans, Baiju, Bijukuttan, Sudhi Koppa, and Harikrishnan.
She has also appeared in other Malayalam films such as Oru Pazhaya Bomb Kadha (2018), Thimiram (2019), The Priest (2021), Wolf (2021), Santa Maria (2022), Abhirami (2024), and Khajuraho Dreams. She has also acted in the Tamil film Raththam (2023) and Hyena.
Ameya gained recognition through her appearance in the popular Malayalam web series Karikku. Her performance in the series, particularly in the Bhaskaran Pillai Technologies episode, earned her widespread acclaim and the moniker "The Karikku Girl."
